OFFICIAL COMPANY POLICY

1. INTRODUCTION

Body Recomp is dedicated to helping clients achieve their fitness and nutritional goals through evidence-based coaching programs. This policy document outlines our services, limitations, client responsibilities, and legal framework to ensure transparency and safety for all parties involved.

2. OUR SERVICES

Body Recomp offers three primary coaching programs:

  • Lifestyle Program: General wellness and habit formation coaching

  • Recomp Program: Body composition improvement through nutrition and exercise

  • Transformation Program: Comprehensive physical and lifestyle change coaching

Our programs include customized meal planning, exercise programming, progress tracking, and regular coaching support.

3. HEALTH AND MEDICAL DISCLAIMER

3.1 Non-Medical Nature of Services

Our programs are designed to improve quality of life through research-supported fitness and nutrition strategies. We do NOT provide medical treatment, diagnose medical conditions, or offer services intended to treat any medical conditions.

3.2 Physician Consultation Requirement

Clients MUST consult with a physician before beginning any Body Recomp program, particularly if they:

  • Have a personal or family history of cardiovascular issues

  • Have experienced chest pain in the past month while not exercising

  • Currently smoke or use tobacco products

  • Have high cholesterol or blood pressure

  • Are classified as obese (BMI >30)

  • Have bone, joint, or musculoskeletal conditions that could be exacerbated by physical activity

  • Experience faintness, dizziness, pain, or shortness of breath during exercise

  • Are pregnant, nursing, or planning to become pregnant

  • Are taking medications that may affect exercise capacity or nutrition needs

  • Have had recent surgery or injury

3.3 Emergency Procedures

If experiencing a health emergency, clients should immediately contact emergency services (000 in Australia or the appropriate emergency number in their location) and seek immediate medical attention.

4. CLIENT RESPONSIBILITIES

4.1 Accurate Information

Clients agree to provide complete and accurate information about their health history, current fitness level, nutrition habits, and lifestyle factors in their intake questionnaire. Withholding or falsifying information may compromise program effectiveness and safety.

4.2 Ongoing Communication

Clients agree to promptly communicate any changes in health status, pain, discomfort, or concerns that arise during the program.

4.3 Adherence to Program Guidelines

While we provide structured recommendations, clients understand that adherence to the program is ultimately their responsibility. Meal plans and exercise protocols should be followed as closely as possible for optimal results.

4.4 Independent Judgment

Clients agree to exercise independent judgment regarding their capacity to perform exercises or consume recommended foods. If something doesn't feel right, clients should stop and communicate with their coach.

5. PROGRAM LIMITATIONS

5.1 Meal Planning

Meal plans provided by Body Recomp are guidelines only and may require adjustment based on individual needs, preferences, or medical requirements. They are not prescriptive dietary treatments for medical conditions.

5.2 Exercise Programming

Exercise recommendations assume proper form and technique. Clients should seek in-person professional guidance if unfamiliar with any movements or exercises.

5.3 Progress Variability

Results vary between individuals based on genetics, adherence, sleep quality, stress levels, and other factors beyond our control. No specific outcomes are guaranteed.

6. WAIVER OF LIABILITY

6.1 Assumption of Risk

By participating in Body Recomp programs, clients acknowledge the inherent risks associated with physical exercise and dietary changes and voluntarily assume these risks.

6.2 Release of Liability

Clients release Body Recomp, its coaches, employees, and affiliates from any liability for injuries, illness, or adverse outcomes resulting from participation in our programs, except in cases of gross negligence or intentional misconduct.

6.3 Indemnification

Clients agree to indemnify and hold harmless Body Recomp against any claims, damages, or liabilities arising from their participation in our programs.

7. PRIVACY AND CONFIDENTIALITY

7.1 Data Collection

We collect personal and health information solely for the purpose of customizing effective coaching programs. This information will never be sold to third parties.

7.2 Information Sharing

Client information may be shared among Body Recomp coaching staff to ensure optimal service delivery. No information will be shared externally without explicit client consent except as required by law.

7.3 Record Retention

Client records are maintained for the duration of the coaching relationship plus three years, after which they will be securely deleted.

8. TERMINATION OF SERVICES

Body Recomp reserves the right to terminate services if:

  • A client's needs exceed our scope of practice

  • A client develops a medical condition requiring specialized care

  • A client consistently disregards coach recommendations in a manner that creates safety concerns

  • A client violates the terms of this policy

9. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS

By enrolling in any Body Recomp program, clients acknowledge they have read, understood, and agreed to all terms and conditions in this policy.
